With WY, star chef Bart De Pooter presents his newest project, this time in collaboration with that other iconic star Mercedes, the german synomym for elegance and refinement.
The Mercedes House situated at the Sablon in the heart of Brussels reveals it's new in house bar restaurant, exceeding all expectations. Everything is in place to assure visitors of a mind blowing experience.
Bart De Pooter adapts his vision on cooking and food to the new setting of The Mercedes House. WY serves food and drinks, all day long. As always the chef is guided by a passion for regional, ecological produce revealing the typical somewhat eccentric nature of his kitchen: taste patterns based on originality, freshness, frivolity and transparancy. Always with seasonal and, when possible, artisanal ingrediënts.
For WY Bart found two partners in crime in Guus Van Zon and Björn Verreckt: both experienced, young and driven. Björn is there to ensure you an excellent service in an easy going atmospere while Guus is the executive chef in the WY kitchen. A kitchen that by the way has a cctv system installed, so you can follow the preparation of your dish on huge monitors: that's what we call show cooking!
